1976. The Group was transformed into Institute of Applied Physics.
During the 80's over 20 significant microwave and DSP based projects for Yugoslav Army Forces.
In the early 90's the Institute of Applied Physics became Institute of Microwave Techniques and Electronics – IMTEL Institute.
During the 90's main activities in R&D and production of DRRS and microwave systems operating up to 75 GHz
